I was just watching a couple of male grackles trying to impress a female just a few minutes ago. ;) Almost abstract in its minimalism, this piece is pure primary in its colorfield. The four blackbirds are almost equidistant which creates a nice balance there. And the one solitary bird breaks up the snow white of the wall very nicely with its suggestion of movement. Anyone who thinks you are just a 'camera clicker' is WAY off, Nikolay. :) Photo as art, IMHO.
Artist Reply: Charles, I am still a camera clicker, but a selective one now. However, I feel more excitement when processing the raw material I get from the camera.
