Lazy Frog

This image was created with BIC ball-point pen. This image was created as part of my 2003 www.theheadchange.com t-shirt series. I wanted to do a frog design, and somehow this is what happened. Any artists will tell you, sometimes you have to let the picture take its own turn. I started drawing, and this is what became of a simple idea to draw a frog in its natural setting. Notice that you do not see lilly-pads......but all in the same I was still happy with the outcome.

I studied this for the longest time ... a Fairae Tale from the Brothers Grimm as envisioned on a page of a book just before Walt Disney came along and outfiitted them all for Mr. Toads Wild Ride...I love the extention beyond the visual frame... impressive ... i can't stop admiring it...

Wow! I really really like this one. So cute and twisted. Looks like something I'd see on a postcard or poster and Hot Toppic. I'd like to see more of your stuff.
