When I was a kid the family used to go down to my father's family near Lexington, Ky. At that time it was 2 lane black top and going through the heart of every town and city, all the way. It would take us almost all day to reach Cincinnati and the Ohio river. Over looking the Ohio river was a gas station we used to stop at every time we went down. I don't remember if we got gas but I do remember the long row of pop vending machine that stood outside. There must have been a dozen or more of them all selling a different type of soft drink. Everything from Nehi to Orange Crush, RC Cola to coke... and more that I can't recall right now,

Artist Reply: Thank you, Joan. This one was a bit more personal for me.

Beautiful Cecil!

Artist Reply: Thank you for your positive feedback. While all of my paintings are a part of me, this one is the most personal to date. Again thank you.
