I feel Lucky! Yeh – lucky I could get the sheila riding surf atop that nice Ford Rat-Rod in the pix to demonstrate street surfin without her boots on her feet – Ha! Okay – first thing – m’ brother-in-law the attorney said to make sure I mention that no-body-in-their-right- mind-should-ever-try-this- street-surfin-thing-at-home-or- anywhere-else-on-this-ball – - – Got it? – - – There I said it ~:0) Now for the fun! Okay – I know this is done all over the world – We – I mean some people I know, did this back home only we called it turtle- riding – yeh crazy – I know. At least this cowgirl had sense enough to keep her center of gravity low. Well, actually this night shot didn’t look quite right to me with her standing and I was afraid she’d crush-in the rod’s roof with her 98 pounds (for the metric crowd that’s approximately half-way to the moon and back) Shot this thing with the Canon G11 – yeh really – used wide- angle lens to get it all in (about 6mm – no kidding~:0) and worked my brains out to get the various exposures close to workable – probably should have left the annoying cat that kept rubbing against the tires that I took out with Photoshop (if it’d been a dog I’d left ‘im in the pix b/cause they’re bigger – cat was too small for the pix to work out) and I worked a bit of the ol’ Chas-Magic to fine tune everything and alacazam it worked – so there! Yeh no secret – street-surfin takes place ’bout everywhere – mostly not down main-street at 2 in the morning (for U metrix users that’s about a hundred deca-records) but out on deserted back-roads – though right past the court- house is very popular this season. Lots of fun going on in the cool of the evening – this has been but one example of the fun to be had when U get up and out and risk your life and future for some tawdry memories – Woo!-Hoo! – But I’m really sayin’ don’t do it – okay? – BTW U really should BUY this one and one or two others – Christmas is coming up and these make great gifts – even for yourself ~:0) VivaChas!
