Wasps nest ?

Found this in our hedge today, think it might be a wasps nest, didnt stay long enough to find out..!

Even though it's a wasp's nest, and I would not go too closely, YOU did and captured this beautiful image. Great work Geoff.

Artist Reply: Thank you dear Anne, after they had gone I took it down and stored it in the garage, over the cold winter I found the mice had eaten it.!

Yeow! This doesn't look like the wasp nests we have here. Just looking at it freaks me out! I'd be afraid it was a hornets nest!

Certainly looks like a wasp's nest. I would have made a swift retreat too!! Wonderful capture of the nest and its surroundings.
