Pale Fire, 40 x 30, oil on canvas This Plains Indian wears a headdress of feathers, beads, ermine tails and a bird. I left the headdress partially out of focus to make the painted face the focal point of the painting. This painting was inspired by a photo taken by Edward R. Curtis. See more on my blog

VERY nice K. Monochrome is often so much more ,, well, just 'more' than intense color. I hope to see this up close and personal.
