Taken from an original photograph done by a friend of mine. This was another of his pictures of the incredible sunset over the Gulf of Mexico at Marco Island, FL. I loved how the palm captured the warmth with the incredible colors, though.

Silhouettes are seldom just black! The backlit tree needs more "seethrough" color and there needs to be some detail in the foreground. The sky is nicely colored. It's a nice try -- keep painting!
