Times Gone Past

The pyramids have always been a source of wonder and inspiration since time immemorial. From the time when the Pharaohs were still ruling Egypt to Napoleon Bonaparte's campaign in Egypt all the way to today people have always been fascinated with these amazing tombs so I wanted to take you back in time and see how the pyramids might have been built. There are many theories on how the work was done but I took as my source one of the more feasible methods which was the ramp method. I am showing you two different time periods, on the outside of the large heiroglyph inscribed Ankh is the completed pyramid as it would have looked in its heyday and then inside the Ankh is a scene of how it must have been while working on this immense structure; here you see two engineers leading the project and directing the workers; the ramp has been lubricated with water so the men can get the large blocks up the ramp with as little friction as possible & another worker is watering the already placed blocks to make it easier for the workers to get the block in place once it's up the ramp and another worker walks behind the pyramid's layers to make sure that everything is still even and flat.
