Sanctuary

As I write about this pix it is Sunday so I thought I’d put in one of the fotos from a series I’m working on during our treks around the Heart of Texas. I like Texas – it’s been around functioning as a country or at least a colony longer than the United States. Along those lines we spent some spare time in San Antonio, Texas exploring the Spanish Missions there. These places predate the American Revolution and they’re a fascinating combination of fortress and church mission. Some of them are still functioning as churches. This pix is of the sanctuary at The Mission Concepcion, I believe – if I discover I got it mixed up I’ll be back to set it right. It was austerely beautiful with great acoustics – be fun to sing in there – really classic kind of structure, but I suppose the fotos will tell the story. This shot was done with ambient light – the church was nicely lit – shot lots of pix there – I’ll share more of them soon – - – VivaChas! visit vivachas dotcom for more ~:0)
