I have always loved my country and been patriotic but 911 made me feel like so many other artist at that time and that was to paint something that showed our emotion, anger and fear of what was to come. I felt it so much it seemed like I had an obsession to paint something patriotic. I picked our colors red, white, and blue. As I painted I was thinking of our space shuttle that returned home in fire, I was thinking of the lives people lost in the towers. In this painting I tried to put my emotions on canvas.
