This shot was taken at Olompali state park in Marin County California- Ancient Miwok Indian site. Artifacts here have been dated at 6000 - 8000 years old.
It was a great walk.

Artist Reply: Thanks Chris- I will be posting a few more from that hike this week. Olompoli is a special place for the Miwok Indians of California and has been dated by Archeologists to have been inhabited for 6-8 thousand years. Also the Great Bear Flag Rebellion was fought on that site. Very historical and magic spot
