“A MOMENT OF REST” BEATRIZ OSORIO DONDICI JUNE 2010 OIL ON CANVAS – 60 X 80 When I look at this slave woman carrying that child makes me think that she should be exhausted and sought a distant place to rest and regain strength. I note that the creepers have already taken place part of her body and I wonder how long she is sitting there that made her lose track of time. Now she will have to pull out the creepers to continue. In life sometimes we are so tired of fighting that we stopped for a moment to rest. That moment can represent years loading the same problem without realizing we are trapped by. ”The fight is not yours but mine says the Lord”. Delivery to him all your loads and you will be free.

Just as beautiful as the Bride. I do so love your descriptions too, Beatriz! I couldn't agree more! :)
