A ballpoint portrait of my partner. There's many things wrong with this but for some reason I like it anyway. :) Black Bic Crystal ballpoint FTW. A truly wonderful drawing tool.

It's in front of this kind of drawing that a wonder why I bother to blur my hatches. This sketch like artwork is very effective and the result is very nice. Very alive

Artist Reply: I appreciate the comment Allan. I admire your wonderfully blended penwork and would love to emulate it but I fear that I'm too heavy-handed. Your light-hatched blending technique is what makes people disbelieve that you work in ballpoint! ;)
