"Egret Spa" oil painting by Marcia L. Wilson was inspired by the flocks of these beautiful white heron relatives who usually stand out solo in cow pastures spanned by tiny streams, but also visit Oregon rivers to fish for salmon, trout and steelhead (a sea-going trout or salmon, depending which fisherperson you ask.)
