Artist Reply: Thanks, Danielle! I really appreciate your comments. I just got into wood cuts and I really like how simple and direct it is after the hassle of lithography. The Hummingbird was my second attempt and technically is lacking, but it was fun to do and I liked how it turned out anyway.
I apologize for taking so long to respond to you. April, May and June are tough months for me, very little downtime, and my correspondence tends to really suffer.

I'm sorry that it took so long to reply to you. April, May and June are just nuts for me and my correspondence really suffers. Thank you so much for your kind words about my work. I love yours as well. I'm a huge fan of bright colors. We are one of a very few species of vertebrates that can see all all those colors, so we should appreciate them and use them in all expression.
