This is a place dear to me, it's a small park here in Forsyth County, Georgia called Poole's Mill. There's a covered bridge and a pavilion and playground, but that's about it. I hope they don't mess it up any more, because when you cross the covered bridge and go down the hill toward the bend in the creek, you are rewarded with the most beautiful view of the water as it rushes over these slippery rocks, tumbling down a vast expanse of outcroppings. It's absolutely breathtaking and yet peaceful. This is a view of the spot that you will have if you scramble down the path a little; maples and oaks grow along the side of Settendown Creek as it widens out, and the late fall sunshine was beautiful as it struck the bare branches that day. I hope you enjoy this! I do accept commissions of all sorts, working from your photos or mine, or from life, for that matter! Please respect my copyrights, and THANK YOU for being a supporter of the arts!
