Not only a wonderful sense of color and forms but a world of magic that becomes real to live within the heart! Truly to see your creations is to love them.
I know your work from Elfwood..so when I saw your name on here, I got excited!! You have sucha lovely distinctive style. This one in particular, reminds me of the artist Josephine Wall. She paints pictures within pictures too. Anyway this is just lovely.
Artist Reply: Great, thanks for dropping by and commenting Jennifer. Actually, I just discovered Josephine's work, and I really like it a lot! Thanks again to everyone for the nice feedback. :)
Clever to put dragons in the wings. This is a beautiful illustration. The reds are so vivid. What brand of watercolors do you use?
Artist Reply: Thank you Kelly; I use Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolors (from the tube). I used mostly alizarin crimson, sometimes mixed with cadmium yellow for the warm colors.
