I strive to move from representational, past abstract, to its most extreme form: non-representational. It's a spiritual endeavor in mindfulness where I worry less about references to imagery from the real world, the abstraction continuum, with its simplified, distorted, exaggerated organic or geometric concepts. My focus is instead on color, shape, line, stroke, emotion, and feeling to achieve living in the moment. This abstract expressionist, gallery wrapped, acrylic on canvas is active, vibrant, and upbeat.
