Saint John Bosco was born in Becchi, Italy, on August 16, 1815. Asa priest, he established established the Society of St. Francis de Sales, prophecied many events in the 19th & 20th century. He worked tirelessly for the year taking many abandoned boys off the streets and gave them lodging, and spiritual guidance. He died on January 31st, 1888 and was canonized on Easter Sunday, 1934 .
