Portrait Of The Liberated Down Home

The sun is setting on a cool summer night. Smoke is escaping from the chimney blending into the sky above. Mr. and Mrs. are preparing to end a long day spent tending to their chores. (15 x 30) I must imagine thinking what to paint next. Coming up with ideas and incorporating images from my past. Next, is "Portrait Of The Liberated Revelations," the end of the series.

Hello Gina, What a beautiful sky and although the figures seem to have had a long hard day the feeling this painting gives out to me is very peaceful. Maybe because we only feel at peace after a full day? :)

Artist Reply: Hello Stella, thanks and you're right it's a feel good painting.

Gina - I have been teaching ballroom dancing for over 50 years. Thus I have danced with many dancers who, at the outset, were beautiful NATURAL dancers until some self proclaimed pro got hold of them and, by shaping them after his/her ideas of dancing, RUINED them. They lost their magnificent spontaneity and started to look like all the other dancers. You are a NATURAL and I implore you to be very careful as to whom you let shape you. What you do it great, just the way it is. Please, remain true to yourself!!!

Artist Reply: Hello Helmut, you are bringing tears to my eyes, because I've received so much criticism for my style. And, you're right after so many years of mental abuse, I'm getting praise for my usual works of art. Thank you, tears of joy.
