The Hike

Oil painting on gallery wrapped canvas, 30x40. The painting wraps around the sides, also. This painting comes from spending so much time in middle Georgia, where I spent my teenage years, and being bored because I lived in the "boondocks." There wasn't much to do, but sit out in the vast nature and read or paint. Little did I know then how much I would love those memories now.

Wonderfull on the artwanted calendar this mornig. I have travelled through Georgia and this is a very nice reflexion of this part of the US. Well done.
