Luna

A one and a half hour drive from Adelaide, and a 45 min. ferry ride off the southern coast of Australia, is Kangaroo Island. This is a photo of an orphaned 17-18 month old baby kangaroo (her mother was hit by a car) named Luna. The good folks at Emu Ridge (a eucalyptus farm and distillery) were taking care of and raising her. The bottom picture is her makeshift "pouch".
