New Zealand Natives decorate their skin with traditional forms. These facial tattoos -- so unique and culturally important they also served as the person's name -- were called "moko."
I have looked through all of your work and kept being pulled back to this man's beautiful face. Thia is really amazing and inspiring work. If I have half your talent when I die I will leave this world happy. Wonderful!
Besides this piece being amazingly done with an interesting choice of material, you did a phenomenal job of capturing the importance of the cultural significance.
This image is not only incredible the history behind it is even more interesting.I feel like I not only got to view some incredible art but also got an interesting bit of info.You've catpured this perfectly.
