I really like the way you've used the two mediums together, and employing the underlying texture of the paper and gouache to give a real impression of rough tree bark and ground surface with the oil pastel. Leaving the background as plain gouache adds to the recession. Great use of colour too, and it's full of light! It reminds me of a favourite woods where I walk my dogs! ****
