This is my assignment of my 2-d project in lasalle, project poem title, He wishes for the cloths of heaven ( that is just to go along with the assignment). the actual title is Dreams And Wonders Of The Little Him Not just LH (DA restricts the number of letters to the title hence the short form ). I feel the drawings i create are getting more and more personal. This work i relate to a lot. It talks about my fears, my difficulties, my uncertainties and my excitement for my future, my goals, my dreams... For this drawing, realism isn't the main focus as some of my previous works. I wanted to concentrate on emphasis. Concept: The receding clouds signifies youthfulness like a child's drawing opening up into a more realistic and surreal world. The baby is like a person, young and youthful with wishful thinking, growing, innocent and weak. The glowing mushrooms are the dreams. The crashed mushrooms indocates one of the baby's dream he has to offer and is crashed by the dinosaur's leg. The dinosaur leg symbolizes society, negative people, viciousness, and sometimes positively as situation and obstacles allowed by God to help us grow, learn and be molded to become stronger and more mature.
