G'day Katie :) Thanx for the visit :) Having had a good mooch through your folio I must admit that you have the knack for people and the expressions they are wearing. You pick your topics well :) I find this the most striking of your pieces, perhaps its the colour, but I suspect it is because of the overall feel to the picture. I see many aspects of where you have perhaps concentrated in images in certain areas more than others. In this one, you have perhaps pushed yourself farther, or perhaps simply enjoyed this more :) ? I think it's a wonderful piece, and shows you have the talent to use coloured pencil. You do have to watch when there are areas you either don't want to do, or areas you're not good at yet. Those tend to end up less detailed, and it shows. I used to put drawings on hold until I could practise the texture required for a specific area. :)

I like the detail in the hair and face, but I don't particularly care for the clothing lines and the background. It also appears she has a halo around her hair.
