Artist Comments: "I spend a lot of time in Tillamook, Oregon, a wonderful farming community on the Oregon coast. On one occasion I spied, in a bright green grassy meadow, a pair of black sheep. They were quietly grazing in the mid-summer sunshine. I determined that pastel would be the ideal medium by which to capture the intense contrast of dark and light while at the same time interpreting the silky texture of their wooly coats. I used soft pastel on Canson Mi-Teintes paper."

"Baa, Baa" is a limited edition, giclée print from an original pastel painting by Carol Thompson. Edition length is 3600 authorized, signed, limited edition prints (3500 numbered and 100 artist proofs). Prints on paper are signed and numbered by Carol Thompson, include a signed certificate of authenticity, and are shrink wrapped on fome board.
