Alex

this is my first colored portrait. It is done in watercolor and is of a dear friend of mine. I tried to hold back on the detail a bit. I wanted it to be clear that it was a watercolor painting, so I left her hair somewhat unfinished. She says that she is a muse for artists. I supose in a way she is .... she inspired me to paint this didn't she ? Thanks Alex.

She is beautiful, alive and playful. Your skin tones are perfect and the play with light on her hair is very good.
