Wonderful piece...! Even though I was born and raised in the city (NYC), I love farms and am a "city-billy"; a city boy with a country heart is how I define it... :)
Beautiful Job Tonia and attention to Detail...I Love the color of the Barn...I have to try the Suede thing...sounds very interesting and I can imagine the feel of the Pastels on it
This image has so much charactor it gives me chills.I can imagine what its history might have been like.It looks run down but it must have been home sweet home to someone.Excellent landscape and sky.Looks like maybe a lake in the back. Thanks for the inspiration and generous comment.
in your art, there is a feeling in the stokes that a camera misses - a sense of history and sadness at a passing era. I don't know if i am just seeing it this way or if it is true but I feel it from this work
