Ice Dragon

Back in /96 I had been contacted by a CCG company and asked for a sample set. This was the first piece I produced for it. I lived in northern BC at the time and the winter seemed to be hanging on forever... and it was starting to effect my artwork, since my next piece after this one was "Cold Snap". The "Ice Age" set had just come out too not long before and was an obvious influence too. :) For this one, I had planned to make the orb look like a frozen world, as if held in perpetual winter by the Ice Dragon, but I scanned the piece with everything finished but the orb, set it off to a friend for an opinion, and he sent it back with the orb... so I left it in. Ended up not sending the pieces in - got too busy with the sign shop. The original piece was done in Prismacolor pencils and ink.
