I never met this couple but it was a fun commission for me. I loved the contrast. The lady was so regal and very composed where the gentleman was a bit more on the wildside. I love to get to know my commissions through the photos. When painting portraits, I go for the personality, likeness and the emotion at the time.that way I grab the very essense of that person .
