Natasha Kinski

This picture is at least 20 years old and was my first real attempt at a detailed portrait. It is very small (the face itself is about 1 x 1.5 inches) and took a long time (with all the erasing) to draw. This drawing was a breakthrough of sorts and is very special to me. I just found it about 2 years ago among a bunch of papers. I'm surprised it survived.

glad it survived too,..i like the way everything around her face is more focused on tone and the inside with the face is tight,..that really worked out great.

Very lovely shading, but I think it needs some mroe definite linework, especially around the mouth.

Lovely

I'm not sure about the way dark neck. Is that a scarf? a shadow? It makes her face seem mounted. Otherwise, excellent. (love the 'do)
