The Violet Duchess - hauntingly lovely - a Rococo style portrait of a slightly sinister duchess. This is my interpretation of a fictional traditional Rococo court style portrait, but with a sort of lowbrow big eyed gothic element to it. Her elaborate outfit and extravagant hairstyle are painted with a lot of detail (used my tiny brushes on this one, hehe!) - it really is a beautiful painting.
