Free Up

This piece was done at a time when I was experiencing a frustrating creative block. I sat down on the floor with this canvas and a basic image in mind, and began to draw layer over layer- simply to break through the barrier that i was feeling- hence the title 'Free up'. The piece came together before my eyes as if it were alive and creating itself, as many of my works do.

This is amazing.. I just wonder how long it took you to do. The name of it and the way it looks throws me! She almost looks like she has become content with familar pain. Shoot.. I don't know what it's saying.. yet the colors and eyes are piercing!

This is amazingly eye catching. I love the overall look of this, the way the colors are blended and feathered into each other...the eyes burn a hole thru the screen. Great work.
