well, i drew this a lil while after we skated the marble park. it was sumtime before i went to the triad video premier. the marble park has these low marble curb things, really easy to slide. and its downtown, across the street from this big hotel. noones ever really there, but like sum crazy bums or sumone just sittin for no reason, and sumtimes really good skaters. its on the Triad Video, i dun see how anyone can ollie that high.. but yeah when we went there, there were bout 4 other skaters, and we were like ok, we'll stay over here. but we like kinda went over by them and they were skating pretty hard in the drained fountain. a hip high ledge, they were tryin to slide it. so with them 4, plus us four it was bout 8, plus sum bike kids, and i guess that was too many ppl cus the cops came up and blasted a horn; everyone paused, grabbed their stuff and skattered. lol quite an experience the marble park looks nothing like this, and noone got beat down. but i was just using artistic license... and no, i din drop my bookbag or pop.. lol, tho that woulda been dramatic. i was thinking akira when i drew the background. go figure, the violence is akira-esque. Katsuhiro Otomo would be proud
