so, yet another piece loosely connected with Nyare Telemnirion...the woman in the pic is a human princess called vilwarin (elvish for butterfly...yes, she's a human but her name is elvish ^^; I guess the human king thought it sounds fancy...just joking, basically she was supposed to be an elven princess, but I changed my mind on the way)...she is the only daughter of the king (but she still has two older brothers), so he's being very protective about her ^^...she falls in love with an elf called tyalangan (elvish for harp-player...very convenient since he actually does play the harp -_-) which is where the problems start because her father has some serious issues with the elves...but that's another story...I thought that in the scene in the picture she might have just settled down on some comfy chaise longue with a nice book on her sunny balcony at the seaside when she happens to look at the ring tyalangan gave to her and drifts off into a daydream about her beloved... about the birds in the pic: on the lower branche there are a yellowbilled hornbill on the right and a grey hornbill on the left. the bird on the upper branche is a striped kingfisher...um, well at least they're all supposed to look like those birds ^^; I changed the colors a bit though...especially the hornbills would have looked a bit too...well grey otherwise and of course there's a gecko hidden in this picture, too ^^ have fun looking for him oh and for the records: coloring every single leaf in this horrible tree really made me lose my marbles >_<
