A french castle in the eastern part of France. I did it on site en plein air with water soluable oil pastels. It is a fascinating place to visit and is in a beautiful part of France near Strasbourg. 6"x8"
This is really nice work having done on a plein air time and now I would try to use that to use as a basis to refine this as it is really a beautiful structure and could realy be developed into something that could be classic.
Artist Reply: Thanks Donald it might become an oil someday.......I appreciate your comment
is there a part of france that is not beautiful? i don't know. never been there. this is wonderful work and what you did with the stone work is fantastic.
Artist Reply: Thank you so much and all of France is beautiful to me anyway...
