I added a cheese cloth for texture
with Gesso.

It's wrapped around the top and left
side (underneath) the painting. (2nd
picture)
Then I added a couple of layers
of
(workable) medium gloss varnish
to
smooth out the plies.
I cut some steps from archival matting paper.
When everything was totally dry, I spray
painted this collage with gold paint.
Then I added different colors of copper paint
for shading.
I love the effect!

You are trully talented and an incredible artist!! I am so inspired right now. I love to see different and new artistic things people come up with. This is just wonderful!! Love the gold! You could not have come up with a better color for this project! I absolutely LOVE!! it!!!!
