mardi gras...

copyrighted... This image was done a few years back, with pen and ink, colored pencil, colored markers and acrylic paint! The head dress took the longest time to complete. I would come home from work and after dinner, I would try to do at least one or two layers of design. I finally ran out of room on the paper and had to end it as it shows here!! smile...

Artist Reply: Thank you, jamie!! Yeah, she IS colorful! In fact, there was so much color, my paper started to buckle a bit (but I mounted it on a heavy board and kept on adding)!! LOL!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Sharon!! I think this is one of my favorite pieces. Since I worked in the photography industry, I was able to have this image put onto a transparency of really good quality. The original was sold as soon as I exhibited it a few years ago!!
