CHIEF WOLF ROBE

This my first "pencil" of "Chief Wolf Robe," a Cheyenne was drawn using a photograph for reference taken by photographer, Frank A. Rinehart in 1898.

The original is 7" x 10" overall. It is drawn on medium weight, hot press Crescent Illustration Board. German made Faber-Castell Drawing Pencils were used. The majority of the "pencil' was done with a #6 lead, while the remainder was darkened with a #8 lead. Total time to complete was almost 11.5 hours.

denny i just love your work u muct put in a lot of time into every piece, and i hated seeing those hit and run "raids" u got because people where just trying to lower your ratings for their own gain keep up the great work

Even the greats can outdo themselves. Not only is this one of (if not the finest) artworks you've done, but you shared with everybody how it is done. This artist has nothing to hide. I would give you a 12/10, but where I am, a 10 will do for now. Awesome job, dad.
