Crazy squirrel

This red squirrel ran straight at me and up the tree square in front of me not even a full arms length away, could have pet him, took pic instead. I know red squirrels are mostly on everyones black list but there beautiful colors and coats can not be denied. and the awesome way they can run around a tree. The second image shows him straight up over my head upside down right after he realized how close we got.

lovely photos, one of my favourite animals. In the UK we don't see red squirels these days, the greys have taken over.

Artist Reply: Thank you for remarking on my image, and just the opposite in my yard, have to go to the woods to see the grays.

Boy look at those eyes, maybe he was the one trying to nest in my attic for the winter, sure is cute, what great shots

Funny and cut shots. Excellently done!

Artist Reply: Thanks, they are quick especially when that close.

Lucky you to be able to capture this little fella so close. I can do the same, only my gray squirrel is a wild pet. She roams free, but sits on my knee when I have pecans.... Terrific shot, Deb!!

Artist Reply: It must be fun to have a wild relationship like you have, We have some very bold reds around this year. could develop a similar thing with one of them but my husband may object. Thanks for commenting
