KIRRA

This is a new painting of a famous wave in Australia known as Kirra. Probably in the the top 5 best waves of the world. Well it was untill the Council decided to mess it with pumping tonnes of sand there.Hopefully the wave will be back as new protests have been won to restore the break.

hopefully the ocean will take the sand back and return the reef to its natural, surfable magic. Why did they transfer so much sand to such a distinguished surfing site? What was their reasoning....

Fabulous work, Wayne! I, too, am disturbed when nature is tampered with.
