Artist Reply: Hi, Sharon! Thanks for your comment. I wish it were my birthstone, too, for it is my favorite color and to me worth far more than being a semi-prectious stone. I'm always fascinated by the contrasting "mood swing" from its soft, relaxing, depth, and peace (for me, at least), and the sharp points and sides.
