Acrylic and impasto on framed canvas.

Commission.

In the detailed view I have shown the original image I was asked to use for reference. I wanted to pour so much more emotion in my painting as that is what I becoming known for and I think the result has really paid off this time.

To all my friends on Artwanted who lovingly comment and support my work please know that I am sorry that I am unable to comment back. I am literally run off my feet these days and have so little time. Please forgive me but know that I am extremely grateful for every word of appreciation.

Reflecting on the last comment - 18 Dec 2019. I'm not sure sure if the guest meant make-up but, rather, lighting effects. It is difficult to transfer imagery across the internet, but - if I may comment - the halo around the virgin's head is illuminating, yet - on her face- it acts as a shadowing effect....All the rest, though - emotion, facial features, etc. are spot on! Good job!

It would have been much better without all the make up on the virgin's face.

May I use this, giving you and Art World credit, in our Sunday bulletin with the names of the parish deceased for the Commemoration Mass for All Souls Day? Margie at Our Lady of Providence [email protected]

Extremely expressive and beautiful work Miss Wolter. I remember to see another painting very likely, the details as the jewels in her leeves, shoulder and neck are the same, and even that kind of signature at the lower right of the painting is present in the other, but I could never been able to know the name of that artists, ¿does this canvas is inspired by the one wich I refer, and do you know the name of the other artist?
