Thank you kindly, Mary! Charles - it wasn't really a transition, because I still do both. They each have their pros and cons. Sounds like I don't have to explain to you about creating and storing oil paintings.... Digital art has no storage problem. Size limitation is also gone. No fumes. No costly materials. Can be modified. No time restrictions, i.e. I can do it at 2 am in my jamies. No cleaning up. Brushes don't wear out. As with everything else, the first thing is to get to learn all about the available tools and then let inspiration take over. Thanks for your interest, Charles and have a great, creative day! Helmut.

I tried my hand at digital work years ago as an experiment and found it wanting---for me, at any rate. I'd like to know how you feel about your transition from canvas to computer screen, Helmut. I like both but lean slightly towards the canvas pieces but that's probably just my quirky retro-self speaking. My viewpoint is rather antiquated, probably. :)

Thank you for your comment on my little painting, I see a window :) very nicely done and love the colors. I like also the double meaning series as well. Nice to meet you!
