We spend every New Year with the bike club and our families. There's nothing better for a post Hogmanay hangover than a brisk stroll along Skeggie beach on a crisp January morning. I had a load of photos of the kids playing in the surf including this one of Thomas, and couldn't resist trying to capture the cold light and the pleasure of having an empty stretch of beach all to ourselves. This is in acrylics on canvas.
