Original Dimensions: 17”x 14” Medium: Prismacolor pencil and India ink wash on Bristol board This is a re-make of a piece I had done many years ago with a few changes, one of which was to omit the black tears, a choice that I think I now regret. I thought clean faces would look better but in the end I think I took something away that should have stayed. They share fragments of one heart, a heart of darkness and of sorrow as they are burdened by the wings of ravens that shall never fly.
