Lovely work Kirby! THanks for your comments of my gallery. I can see real progression in your portraits as well. This one is my favorite so far. I love the Corel programs, and the Painter is the best one I find to work with for details. I love mixing pastels, watercolors, chalks, and blenders to creat smooth looks. It takes longer to build up the color layers, especially with hair. Hair is tricky at times. Keep on creating these lovely works of fantasy. You might try out Painter at the Corel web site for a free download try and see if you like that. Are you using a tablet? It makes all the diffrence in the fine details and control of your hand.
Artist Reply: Hi Terry, I have been away from the computer for a while I do have a bamboo tablet, works good for me, but have been useing the ole sketch pad lately, I gotta try that download, thanks!!
