Yesterday afternoon
Jack Williams,
our friend and dear neighbor passed away.

There you are
high up and far away.
Your light is shining:
you are a star.
But you're more.
You're a friend, a neighbor,
a (grand)father and a wonderful husband
of a dear friend of mine.
Today the sun took you with her
behind the horizon
where the light will shine for ever.
Your dearest stay behind
with a sky
full of memories.
Your light went off,
but you're still shining!
We are touched
and warm ourselves
onto the light of your soul.
We will never forget you
