Green Bumpy Frog

"Green bumpy frog" says my son, well only if he was old enough to talk. I found this and 10 other frogs on the flight line on Dover AFB last night while refueling a C-5 Galaxy. A thunderstorm just passed and there were frogs and worms everywhere. I took them home and snapped a few pictures before releasing them in the tall grass near the marsh next to my house. Delaware is well known for its wetlands, bugs, and mosquitoes. I try to learn as much as I can about it's wildlife because I don't know how much longer I will be here and there is great variety of life in a very small area. So far I've seen a Bald eagle, about a thousand migratory birds, 500 horseshoe crabs, and loons, turtles, fish, sharks, eels, crabs, beavers and an otter all within 5 miles and in the same day. It is pretty cool as long as you don't mind the bugs. Copyright 2009 Donald Cridlebaugh
